In his speech at the Eurasia Blockchain Summit, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır gave the good news that they will establish a "Blockchain and Metaverse Platform" as a ministry. Kacır said, “Let's give the good news here. We are establishing a Digital Technologies Platform, in which our relevant stakeholders will participate, in order to determine policies on high technology work issues and to identify related sector problems and develop solutions. One of them will be Blockchain and Metaverse Platform.” said.
Emphasizing that they also focused on the blockchain in line with the 2023 Industry and Technology Strategy, the Deputy Minister gave examples of the work already done in this field.
