Blockchain Laboratory (BZLab) affiliated with TÜBİTAK BİLGEM National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology (UEKAE) will organize a blockchain competition for the first time at TEKNOFEST 2024. Teams consisting of undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students or graduates from all fields will compete in the category added to TEKNOFEST this year. Teams are expected to produce solutions to real-world problems in areas such as identity, finance, and supply chain using blockchain technology.
The competition, organized with the aim of increasing knowledge and trained workforce in the blockchain field, includes 5 different themes:
- High-Performance and Scalable DLT Infrastructures
- Privacy in DLT Systems
- Digital Wallets
- Selected DLT Application Areas
- Web3 Developer and Community Tools
The awards to be given to the winning teams of the Block Chain Competition are as follows:
- First Prize: 100,000 TL
- Second Prize: 80,000 TL
- Third Prize: 60,000 TL
