TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, Turkey's leading Research and Development center, hosted another significant presentation within the framework of the TechTalks Technology Meetings. On December 8th, Friday, at the TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Conference Hall, Dr. Taner Dursun, Head of the Blockchain Technologies Department at the National Electronic and Cryptology Research Institute (UEKAE), delivered a presentation titled "The Present and Future of Blockchain in Turkey."
During the presentation, Dr. Taner Dursun extensively covered the current state and future prospects of blockchain technology in Turkey. Emphasizing the importance of blockchain technology in the process of digitization, he explained why it emerged, outlined the roadmap of digitization, and discussed the challenges of centralized systems.

Sharing details about TÜBİTAK BİLGEM's efforts in blockchain technology, Dr. Dursun particularly highlighted the significance of projects such as Digital Turkish Lira, Digital Identity, Crypto Radar, and Digital Asset Custody Systems.
Following his talk, Dr. Dursun addressed questions from the participants in the Q&A session, delving into the future of blockchain technology, security measures, regulations, and related topics. He also emphasized the need for support for blockchain technology projects in Turkey and the importance of increasing awareness in this field.
