The 2nd National Blockchain Workshop, organized by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM UEKAE Blockchain Research Laboratory (BZLab), was held at Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center on September 25-26, 2019. This event, which brought together professionals, academics and researchers from the public and private sectors, offered an important platform to shape the future of blockchain technology.
Blockchain Technology Offers a Mathematical Solution to the Trust Problem The main theme of the workshop was "Digital Identity in Blockchain". Under this theme, it was discussed how blockchain technology can affect the lives of individuals and improve daily business processes. The potential of blockchain to offer fast and secure processes in many areas from public services to electronic services of private institutions was discussed. In addition, issues such as protecting privacy and increasing participation in the digital world were also discussed.
